Class Description

Rescue & Search Workshop

This is a first-time class based on Clackamas Fire Department's culture. This class will take a dive into how a Rescue and Search culture was incorporated into the department's operating procedures. The goal of the workshop is to learn how to develop a plan for your department to effectively integrate Rescue and Search tactics, fostering a strong search culture.
The morning will consist of a lecture followed by and afternoon session of light hands on session with a train the trainer approach. We will distribute Clackamas Fire's rescue and search week outline addressing questions and providing a solid framework to aid in successful implementation into your department's operating and recruit academy procedures.

Justin McWilliams - Fire Captain of Heavy Rescue 5, Clackamas Fire District #1 (OR). USAR team member, instructor for Brothers In Battle, founding member of Firefighter Rescue Survey and the Grabs Podcast. He has taught classroom and H.O.T. sessions across

the country including; FDIC, Firemanship PDX, Art of Firemanship Days and many
