This intensive three-day live fire program is designed to develop and coordinate effective first-due fire suppression tactics in realistic IDLH environments. Students will train in engine and truck company operations with an emphasis on communication, coordination, decision-making, and multi-tasking during dynamic incidents. The course combines ground school instruction with demanding live-fire evolutions focused on real-world fireground performance.

This lecture-based class explores modern building construction and the impact it has on fireground strategy and firefighter safety. Instructors bring extensive fire service and construction experience to discuss collapse indicators, fire behavior, tactical considerations, and lessons learned from the street.

A high-repetition, hands-on forcible entry class designed to move firefighters beyond basic door operations into realistic, decision-driven scenarios. Students will train on residential and commercial door systems under pressure while building muscle memory, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

This live-fire training program teaches firefighters how to effectively integrate Thermal Imaging Cameras (TICs) into search, size-up, fire attack, VEIS, and tactical decision-making. Students will participate in lecture, live-fire observation burns, search drills, and thermal interpretation exercises using current UL, NIST, and FSRI research.

Train under realistic Mayday conditions with experienced instructors from across the country. This hands-on course focuses on firefighter survival and rescue operations including search techniques, air delivery, drags, lifts, extrication, and FAST Board operations under smoke conditions.

This specialized class introduces firefighters to lock types, lock picking methods, bypass techniques, and entry operations commonly encountered on the fireground. Students gain practical skills and techniques that improve access, reduce damage, and expand truck company capabilities.

Each student will have one entire car assigned to them during this two-day, all hands-on extrication program is designed to take students from foundational vehicle rescue skills to advanced heavy rescue operations. The class focuses on efficient, purposeful tool discipline and real-world rescue tactics that maximize productivity while reducing unnecessary steps during patient extrication.

This course will begin in the classroom, followed by hands-on. It will provide the participant with fundamental understanding of elevator equipment, how elevators operate during normal function, and review of safety and failure modes for such equipment. It will teach you the terminology and components of various elevators you may come across in the field. It will help you identify different types of elevators, explain the unique challenges with elevator rescues in California, and introduce you to proven rescue methods. But like any technical rescue discipline, a hands-on component is necessary to help you build a skill set.
