Cruel Intentions - Fires are growing and extending faster in modern age than they ever have before. We must ensure that as nozzleman we can think and act as an independent operator. This class is a deep dive into understanding the goals of the first engine due, how to operate independently on the nozzle, and attack the fire with cruel intentions.

The Stretch - This class covers the ins and outs of making and drilling on the stretch, which includes leader lines, bundles, loading and deploying the flat load off the transverse, 2.5 deployment for blitz, and line choice for the first engine due.

Instructor

Kyle Romagus

Kyle Romagus has served with the East Montgomery County Fire Department since 2002 and currently holds the rank of Battalion Chief. His true passion in the fire service is engine work. Kyle is the owner of Smoothbore Cartel and the founder of Engine Company Resurrection.

He teaches engine company operations for several well-known fire service training groups, including FD Tactics, Brothers in Battle, County Fire Tactics, and the Oathkeepers Engine Cadre. Kyle also serves as the administrator of Engine Company Resurrection, where his primary mission is to share knowledge and reinforce the value of engine company work with firefighters across the fire service.

Kyle travels nationwide delivering lectures and hands-on training focused on engine company skills, and he presents one of the most compelling fire attack lectures in the industry.
